Orienteering Meets
Westmoreland Sanctuary partners with Hudson Valley Orienteering twice a year for an orienteering meet in the fall and the spring. Orienteering combines the terrain of the great outdoors with the thrill of a scavenger hunt. It is popular amongst scouts of all ages and can help troops meet badge requirements.
Our next orienteering meet is scheduled for October 22nd.
Eagle Scouts
Westmoreland Sanctuary works with Eagle Scout candidates, but we are not certified to be Eagle Scout Mentors.
We offer a variety of outdoor projects that benefit the community and help conserve the environment for Eagle Scouts. Contact Steve Ricker via email at sricker@westmorelandsanctuary.org for more information.
Scheduling
We can teach multiple programs during a single visit. Each program is approximately 1 hour.
$12.00 minimum per scout per program. Additional fees may be incurred for supplies, length of program and after-hours programs.
Pack Meetings: $100.00
Scouts Overnight: $750.00 group rate for 10 or fewer scouts. A $10 additional fee per scout is charged for up to a maximum of 25 total scouts. All overnights include programs, campfire, and dinner.

All scout reservations require a non-refundable deposit. This goes towards the total cost of the program and is returned for weather-related cancellations. Deposits may be paid via snail mail within 2 weeks of making your reservation or via PayPal below (this does not require a PayPal account).
