Sat. and Sun. March 10 & 11
100% Zero Waste Event – All material is composted on site.
The coming of spring brings Westmoreland’s Annual Sugarfest. Now in its 13th year, we hope you will join us for a delicious homemade pancake breakfast with your choice of blueberry or plain pancakes served with 100% New York Maple Syrup. Hot sausage and fruit will also be available. All participants receive one ticket for the raffle of our popular 3 jacket and hat. We hope that you all come join us for this very special event!
Anyone who is an Adopt a Sugar Maple participant receive free admission. Learn More HERE.
Seating is limited so pre-registration is required to ensure your spot at our event. Walk-ins will be limited.
Following each seating is our MAPLE SUGARING THROUGH THE AGES program. Join us as we take a look at the evolution of making maple syrup. We will explore the harvesting and processing techniques used by the Native Americans and early colonists. Please come relive what it was like to make maple syrup in the 1800’s.
We’ll learn how to tap a tree and even test ourselves to see if we can tell the difference between 100% maple syrup and imitation syrup.
